A NIC initiative, low cost infant radiant warmer designed to provide thermal support for newborns in the delivery suite as a means to protect hypothermia. Nyano Nani is particularly designed to fit in the nepalese socio-economical and healthcare scenario.
Worked on design assessment according to relevant standards: IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-2-21. Got involved in design, rapid prototyping, drafting production drawings and small scale production. Collaborated with TU Delft and MIT students to create a V2 of the base model.
Nyano Nani V1 currently operates in more than 40 public hospitals of the country including one of the busiest delivery station.
Nyano Nani V2 is 29% more energy efficient, 35% lighter, and 55% smaller which is more economical than it's earlier version.
A ROS based autonomous mobile robot prototype, for indoor applications like material handling and nursing, which utilizes computer vision, mapping, motion planning, and navigation.
Performed full product engineering design using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, integration of URDF in ROS environment, and rapid prototyping using SLA 3D Printing, FDM 3D Printing, laser cutting, plasma cutting, and other workshop technologies.
A MVP prototype that was able to navigate around the premises of NIC, with object detection AI, additionally with an UI that could be operated with a touch display. The final prototype, made of aluminium and fiberglass, is shown in the picture.
A waitress humanoid concept based on autonomous navigation, to embody friendly gestures for seamless human robot interaction.
Drafted the humanoid concept using SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD. Performed rapid prototyping and testing of proof of concept robotic platforms in different test scenarios.
We made a proof of concept that was capable of navigating in tight space. SLAM and navigation for the full-scaled humanoid was successfully tested in simulated environment.
